with Stephanie Bradley
18 - 22 May 2020
This retreat is for artists and those who want to find time for art and/or to explore creativity in their lives. Storyteller Steph Bradley and her partner, potter Ben Chadwick, are joined by Celtic artist Yannick Dubois, poet Harula Ladd and another visual artist (tbc) to guide your creative journey.
You will explore magical Dartmoor with Emma Cunis (Dartmoor’s Daughter) as your competent, experienced and knowledgeable guide, exploring this ancient landscape and hearing some of its history, myths and tales at the Bronze Age settlement of Ryders Rings.
In the gardens and art studio at Bala Brook you will have creative opportunities to vision a new story for yourself as you create an artistic piece or pieces of your choice. There will be morning art workshops for inspiration, lots of creative time and space, and a final exhibition and sharing of work. There will be the opportunity of having your work included in the online gallery of HarmonyRetreats.
Fully catered with delicious, local and organic vegetarian food, every morning of this retreat starts with a gentle wake-up yoga session or meditative guided walk, and each evening ends with a sleep-well meditation practice in the purpose built yoga studio with its underfloor heating.
